On this episode of Mastering The Room, we’re joined by Joe Franco, an alumnus of the Political Management program at GSPM and an accomplished, award-winning advocacy executive who has built and led grassroots operations at several prominent associations — including the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and the American Diabetes Association. Today, he’s the Vice President of Advocacy at LeadingAge, which represents more than 5,000 nonprofit aging services providers and other mission-minded organizations that touch millions of lives every day, where he is responsible for building the organization’s grassroots capacity, and setting and implementing strategies that maximize the its ability to effect legislative change.
